Why should I join ACE (DECA)?
ACE (DECA) is one of the largest undergraduate conferences in Canada and provides an opportunity for like-minded university students to network and build connections. Delegates are able to practice presentation skills through student competitions and able to learn about various business fields of interest. As we prepare the chapter for Nationals, our annual conference is a genuinely unique experience that not only provides career and networking opportunities, but also a celebration of student leaders and community.
What is the commitment to ACE (DECA) like?
ACE UTSG (DECA UTSG) offers a very flexible and engaging school year for its delegates. As we acknowledge the commitment and priorities of academic studies, ACE will offer two training sessions per week; however delegates are only required to attend five.
What is Nationals?
“Nationals” is the name for the national undergraduate conference hosted by ACE Canada where delegates from ACE chapters across Canada compete. See our ACE Nationals event page for more details.
What are the costs associated with ACE?
There is a general membership fee of 30$, which includes the fees toward ACE CANADA and ACE UTSG. This fee includes training sessions, one-on-one mentorship, entry Into ACE UTSG social events, entry into the ACE UTSG invitation conference, and a ACE UTSG T-Shirt.
Are there any subsidies available?
Yes, there are subsidies available for students attending Nationals. There are subsidies exclusive for Rotman students, in which further information can be found on the Rotman Portal or Rotman Commerce office for assistance. Non-Rotman students may also visit their respective college registrar for subsidy information.
